Thanksgiving is a wonderful reminder of the importance of being grateful. No matter how difficult things are, how tumultuous the world is, how many loved ones are missed, there is always something to be thankful for. My mother used to say, "Nothing's so bad it couldn't be worse." Over the years I put that saying to the test and found it was true.
One thing I am grateful for is the home I live in. Today is the 60th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and that is the same day my family moved into this house. I left home for many years, but returned in 2005, and I’ve lived here ever since, except for a couple of years when Hurricane Ike has its way with the newly-remodeled homestead. I remember the November 22nd when we first moved in. Everything looked and smelled new, and we were so excited, until mid-day, when tragedy stole the joy.
If Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday turn your thoughts to holiday shopping, let me remind you that autographed books are the most meaningful and lasting gifts, and I would be honored to help you with your shopping list. Books purchased on the bookstore page at http://palmcirclepress.com can be personalized, autographed, pawtographed, and shipped for less than you would pay at other online stores. And the website is the only place you can get a new copy of Naughty Nana online.

In the coming weeks I’ll have a lot of exciting book news, but for now, let’s focus on what’s most important, counting our blessings, large and small. I’d love to hear from you this holiday season. Shoot me an email, and let’s catch up!
I'm grateful for all my friends and family--those who are physically close, and those who are only a keystroke away. Thank you for sharing in my life's journey and allowing me to share in yours. Wishing you countless reasons to be grateful.
Much love,
Saralyn
