November Friendships
November is a great month for reflecting on friendships, this year even more than usual. I’ve recently spent quality time with new friends and old friends. Some of the interactions have been sad and stressful, but all have been filled with gratitude and the joy that true friendship brings, no matter how challenging the times.
Many of you sent me names of ancestors who lived at the turn of the twentieth century, and I’ve consulted those lists every time I name a new character in the story I’m writing. Others have attended book clubs and events, such as the wildly exciting Moody Market last weekend. We’ve had lots of in-person and online visits, as well as old-fashioned phone calls. And even if we haven’t communicated this month, I hold your friendship close.

If you'd like to join me in the near future, on December 12 at 7:30 pm CT, I’ll be on Cozy Mystery Takeover on Facebook. Talk to me for a chance to win a book of your choice. On December 20, I’ll be at Hendley Market from 1 – 4 pm, and I may have a surprise guest. Please stop by if you can!
We’re all getting ready for Thanksgiving today, so I’ll make this brief. I’m grateful for you—for your support and encouragement—for your friendship. I wish you all the best things of this holiday and season, and the wisdom and health to enjoy them.
Much love,
Saralyn
P.S. I’m offering a special Black Friday price for this bundle of Detective Parrott books. Email me if you’re interested.

P.P.S. Every Naughty Nana book comes autographed, pawtographed, and inscribed to the little person of your choice. I will also include a kit with activities related to the book, if requested. Email me or purchase at https://palmcirclepress.com on the bookstore page, Galveston Bookshop, or Then and Now Bookstore.

P.P.P.S. The working title of my work-in-progress is Promises to Keep, but that won’t be the final title. If you’re feeling creative and want to contribute suggestions, I’m open to anything that reflects the book’s history, setting (Galveston in 1903), mystery, and a bit of romance.
